Xenmint Art Collective

Inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement, we wanted to take our images off gallery walls and find new, imaginitive ways to offer them to people as useful household items. We hand-print everything ourselves onto ceramic tiles, trivets, slates and plates using a dye-sublimation process that renders them water and heat-proof. Decorative tableware, and tiles for kitchen and bathroom walls, and fireplace surrounds can be produced using our own artwork, or photographs provided by clients. A favourite scene, or a loved pet can be transferred onto many different surfaces: whilst we mainly work with ceramics, dye sublimation also works with fabrics and some plastics. Mountain panoramas printed on slate are one dramatic alternative.

We work with clients to create images on multiple tiles to be installed on a new or an existing bathroom or kitchen wall - for example a porthole to a seascape can transform a small room into one with a distant view. It is safe to say that looking through an arch towards a waterfall provides a unique showering experience. Some clients prefer to use images from our award-winning photos and paintings. Or we are happy to transfer our clients own masterpieces onto tiles. 

We are able to offer something beyond the mass-produced domestic home decor avilable in so many stores, and allow people to add touches of unique art to their homes, however humble, or grand. The idea of this collaborative enterprise is to create an outcome that is a happy fusion of our clients' enthusiasm and our expertise.

Our house is filled with examples of our new artistic collaboration, so please come along and enjoy the fun. Refreshments will be available, as well as a wide range of items for sale. Please note we are open over the Bank Holiday weekend from 10am till 5pm, and then from Tuesday till Saturday from 11am to 3pm.
