Ruth Robinson

Inspired by nature, texture and light my stoneware and porcelain work is predominately stained rather than glazed to reveal the natural beauty of clay. Hand building, wheel throwing and press molding, I like to take traditional skills and give them a modern touch. My work is ever evolving, with new designs and ideas often finding their way onto several different forms of work, from the tiniest stud earring to an elaborate stoneware sculpture.
