I am an artist who makes drawings and prints, I have been a practicing artist a few years having gained a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Printmaking in 1990 from Central Saint Martins School of Art in London. I love to draw. I will draw most things but particularly animals and things organic in nature. I love exploring with line using pencil, ink and carving a lino-block.

I am inspired by nature. I particularly like to draw the local animals and some not so local! I grew up in the Peak District but I’ve lived in London and New Zealand, all of these experiences feed into my creativity. I regularly attend life drawing sessions, a discipline which helps with my observations of anything I draw.

I’m very diverse in my creativity, one day I have to draw, or create a print, or sew something. However – there’s nothing like pulling the first proof off a printing plate to see the results. I have been a member of the Sheffield Printmakers group since 2016.
