I create contemporary mixed media textile and handmade felt landscapes inspired by the surrounding steep sided limestone valleys, craggy outcrops and drystone walls that surround my home. I like to finish my work taking inspiration from the hedgerow using hand and free machine embroidery. I love to learn through experimentation.
I never tire of the changing light and onset of each changing season, the surrounding landscape inspires and excites me, hopefully this is reflected in my work.
