Egginton / Ceramics
Opening days
Saturday 26th May
Sunday 27th May
Monday 28th May
David has been involved with ceramics for most of his life, first working in the industry, and then for the past twenty or more years sharing a studio with his wife and fellow potter Louise, until her death in 2016
David produces earthenware pottery and framed tiles decorated with themes from the natural world of countryside and seashore.
He has always loved to draw and paint and has adapted watercolour techniques for use with ceramic pigments. This gives him the freedom to illustrate the ceramic surface in his own way.
David continues to work from his Leicestershire home studio, but always with an eye on the distant coast.
Will undertake commissions
