As well as the main Bank Holiday weekend, Pear Tree Café will open on Weds, 30th May - Sat, 2nd, June. 9:30-3:30pm. There will be a special Derbyshire Open Arts menu on offer for anyone on the trail.

Pear Tree Cafe is home to the Arts Hub of Whaley Bridge; a group of local artists whose aim is to promote the arts in the town. Pear Tree hosts work by over twenty artists and makers, from Whaley Bridge and the High Peak, including jewellers, illustrators, textile artists, painters, photographers, printmakers, 3D artists and ceramicists.

We are also an arts venue for creative workshops and on display will be some of the results from these. Plus we have a 'Feature Wall' for selected, notable artists plus a "Student Wall" for budding, talented artists: all in all lour lovely, independent cafe,  jam-packed full of beautiful handmade work.

And we are just as passionate about our homemade food and coffee. Over the Bank Holiday weekend we will have a special Derbyshire Open Arts meal deal. We source all of our meat, eggs and bread locally. We always have lots on the menu for vegetarians and vegan options are available.

So, come through our gates and up the stairs to this little hidden gem of a Cafe and Arts Hub
