Madily is a new studio that runs courses in mixed media and sells paintings, limited edition prints and craft product ranges for interiors, such as lampshades, cushions, art for the garden and splashbacks for kitchens.  Maddy is the artist behind Madily, she has been teaching Art Textiles for 20 years and is now building her business.  The art work is inspired by nature, Derbyshire and Essex country scenes and still life.  She paints in acrylic, oils, brusho and often stitches and prints into her work.  Then elements of the paintings are used to create repeat prints that are printed onto fabric for interiors.  For sale over the Bank Holiday weekend, will be original art work, limited edition framed prints and craft products for interiors, such as high quality lampshades and art that can be put into the garden.  And come along and book in for a course in printing, paintings or stitch.  Currently she is working on ranges, for example the bumblebee range consists of her own original art work, printed onto fabric and made into lampshades, canvases and prints, for the garden and the home and splash backs, as well as tea towels.  Other ranges include a still life floral range and marbles inspired range, sunset and stitch and foil ranges too.
